Our Story
Sister-duo, Alicia & Whitney, are worship leaders, songwriters, authors, and speakers who have a passion to connect others to Jesus Christ through equipping them to cultivate a lifestyle of worship. This passion was birthed in their early twenties after their father passed away of cancer. Their relationship with Jesus, worship, and songwriting were the life sources that sustained them during their darkest times and were the catalysts of their healing from the inside-out. Through this, they learned what it means to commune with God through a lifestyle of worship and have found true fulfillment in His Presence.
Since then, Alicia & Whitney have traveled throughout the United States and beyond, equipping and inspiring others to cultivate a deeper relationship with God through worship, speaking, the books they've authored, and humanitarian efforts in the United States, Honduras and Tanzania. They also started their non-profit, Keepin' It Global, in 2019 to help children in need and currently sponsor six children in India and Kenya and help buy necessities for local foster care families.
Musically, their library includes two original albums entitled, Core and A Portrait of Worship, and 2 newly released singles: The Depths of You and Believe again. These songs will be on their upcoming album Beloved, set to be released spring 2023.
Writing is a passion for both the sisters, not only in songs but also books. Whitney has authored two books, Beauty for My Ashes, a book that offers a healthy, faith-filled approach to coping with grief after losing a loved one, and Occupy While Waiting: The Singles Guide to Pursing God, Purpose and Healthy Relationships. Alicia has also authored a book entitled Reset, Recalibrate, Restore: My Journey from Broken to Breakthrough and the Lessons I Learned Along the Way.
They also host their weekly podcast, Coming Up Higher with Alicia & Whitney, where their goal is to encourage others to cultivate atmospheres for God to move in everyday life through insightful conversations and special guests. In addition to Coming Up Higher, Whitney has a brand new podcast entitled The Beauty of Becoming: The Single Ladies Podcast filled with encouragement for single ladies to walk out God's purpose for their lives!
